DAVID TURNER APPOINTED TO NATIONAL COMMERCIAL FISHING SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SEATTLE, WA (March 13, 2023) – Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG) is pleased to announce that David Turner has been appointed as a Representative to the National Commercial Fishing Safety Advisory Committee to represent the viewpoint of naval architects and marine engineers. The Committee provides valuable assistance to the Department of Homeland Security on matters related to commercial fishing vessel safety.
David is a project manager at EBDG with 20 years of experience in naval architecture and vessel design. He is responsible for the fishing vessel sector at EBDG and has managed and worked onboard vessels for projects ranging from concept design, vessel refurbishments, stability and weight calculations, to efficiency improvements.
