Our designs range from a 30-passenger hop-on, hop-off ferry with side-loading gates and solar-powered charging systems to a high-capacity 600-passenger vessel with dual side-loading doors for rapid embarkation. EBDG’s foot ferries prioritize sustainable technology, operational efficiency, and seamless passenger experiences, connecting neighborhoods and commercial hubs with environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
35’ Foot and Bike Ferry
EBDG developed a concept design for a quick hop-on and hop-off ferry connecting neighborhoods and commercial centers along inland waterways of major cities. The ferry has capacity for 30 passengers and 6 bicycles. The ferry features side loading gate with 4-foot wide clear opening on each side of the ferry. This design utilizes a shore power system to charge the onboard ferries and is equipped with eight solar panels mounted on the vessel.
