Floating Mall Concept
EBDG developed a concept for a high-end floating mall designed to travel between port cities in Southeast Asia and China. This vessel offers a luxurious retail and dining experience while berthed, featuring onboard accommodations for staff and self-sufficient electrical and habitability systems. With ample storage for merchandise and the capability to resupply from standard container units, the floating mall ensures a continuous and high-quality service, providing a unique shopping experience on the water.
Floating Entertainment Complex
EBDG conducted a feasibility study and concept design for a 300' x 100' floating pool and entertainment barge. The design includes restaurants, a nightclub, event spaces, a private club, a spa, retail shops, sunbathing areas, and swimming pools. EBDG provided contract design and collaborated closely with the USCG, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering an optimized space arrangement that meets the client’s business model and operational needs.
Tender Island
EBDG was selected to design a self-propelled barge with yacht accommodations for a client in the Pacific Northwest. Operating primarily in the Inside Passage between Puget Sound and Southeast Alaska, with capability for transit to Mexico, the barge features dry storage for a float plane, a helipad, a small craft garage, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. This unique design caters to high-end leisure and transportation, showcasing EBDG’s ability to create sophisticated and versatile floating entertainment solutions.
