44’ - 49 Passenger WILD LANDER
Coastwise Engineering provided the concept, detailed design, and construction support for a high-speed catamaran. The WILD LANDER was designed for Alaska Wildland Adventures of Girdwood, as a remote Alaska lodge support vessel to carry both passengers and light cargo to locations with un-improved beaches.
The aluminum catamaran is a USCG inspected subchapter T passenger vessel and is certified to carry up to 49 passengers. The WILD LANDER design provides passengers excellent wildlife viewing during transit and carries luggage and light cargo in forward cargo holds. The vessel has an aluminum bow ramp to support beach landing and is powered by two 610 horsepower water jets and makes a loaded speed of 26 knots.

48’ - 49 Passenger ATLIN
Coastwise Engineering provided detail design and construction support for a new whale watching vessel for Juneau Tours and Whale Watch. Out of Juneau, Alaska, the ATLIN carries up to 49 passengers for tours on the Inside Passage.
The aluminum tour boat is a USCG inspected subchapter T passenger vessel certified to carry up to 49 passengers on Exposed Waters. The ATLIN is powered by quad 350 horsepower outboard engines and boasts a 500 gallon fuel capacity. This vessel can reach a top speed of 49 mph, cruising at 32 mph with passengers. The ATLIN is unique in the fact that it is Alaskan designed, Alaskan built and enjoyed in Southeastern Alaskan waters.

68’ - 144 Passenger GUARDIAN
EBDG designed the 144-passenger aluminum excursion vessel, GUARDIAN for Hornblower. The vessel is equipped with a water rescue station, tow bit and push knees with sufficient horsepower to push a 700-passenger vessel upstream against a current. The vessel features a shallow draft, flush passenger deck with accommodations for wheelchairs, and water jet propulsion. The open excursion vessel also serves as an initial emergency responder.
